Family Days From a City-sponsored festival and neighborhood block parties, Family Days in Port Orange has grown to become the premier volunteer staged and directed community event on Florida's Fun Coast, annual drawing more than 60,000 residents and visitors for a four-day celebration of Community Spirit and Civic Pride. Family Days is held around the lake at Port Orange City Center. Events include a family-oriented carnival, numerous entertainment venues featuring professional, amateur and student talents in many fields. Vendors offer food, and information galore on things you didn't know you badly need. Fireworks and Movies light the night, the City Center Lake offers jet ski rides and demonstrations, sidewalks become pallets for artists with chalk and health fairs are featured. A walking parade showcases our Person of the Year and school and club groups of every kind. Plan now to attend Family Days 2008
